Flying Clubs
Flying clubs and schools of Moscow and Moscow Region provide ample opportunities to every person wishing to engage in extreme flying sports. These entities train to operate airplanes, helicopters and hang-gliders and to jump with parachute. Practically all flying clubs of Moscow and Moscow Region conduct training of amateur pilots as well as training in the flying school. The majority of the sports instructors of the Moscow Region flying schools are the airplane and glider aerobatics world champions.
The first Russian flying club – Kubinsky Air-Technical Sports Club ROSTO (DOSAAF) was opened in the Moscow Region in 2004 – it still remains one of the largest flying clubs of the Moscow Region. Besides the pilotage training this club provides to the Muscovites and capital’s guests the unique opportunities of training in parachute sports – 4-kilometer height parachute jumps as well as the cupola parachute acrobatics courses.
The flying club can be chosen depending on whether you are a parachute sports or other extreme sports professional, or to the contrary, if you only wish to start training and learn to hover. In the flying club you can both make your fist jump and continue further professional training.
If you have just become familiar with air romance and wish to experience free-flying, you have to try to fly in the air flow supplied by the wind tunnel in one of the flying clubs. This is possible for a person of any age and constitution. Professional parachutists exercise there and adrenaline buzz lovers just have fun. The club usually provides preliminary briefing for inexperienced visitors allowing learning to manage their own movements in the air flow.
