As estimated by experts, Moscow currently has over 300 car dealerships and official representatives of western automakers, which not only sell new cars, but also purchase used cars from the public and offer car rental services. This impressive amount is no surprise, as Russia’s automotive market is one of the world’s most dynamic ones.

The Moscow International Automobile Salon (MosIAS)  exhibition, whose status has been acknowledged by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), is held annually at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This event, which is regarded highly by Russia’s millions and millions of car enthusiasts and professionals, has been included in the official calendar of international motor shows. In 2008, MosIAS was granted the prestigious A category, putting it right up there with the major auto shows taking place in Geneva , Paris , London, Detroit and Frankfurt.
