Training schools
Training school is the term which in Moscow is commonly used to denote a vocational technical schools and secondary vocational (teachers training, medical, fine arts) education facilities that train qualified professionals in various jobs. Vocational technical school and other training schools based on the former primarily train workers. Occasionally, a training school stands for institutions of higher education, e.g. military academies, Moscow Higher Technical School named after N.E. Bauman , some other education facilities of various level and specialization.
The majority of training schools are secondary vocational education facilities that train professionals with specialized secondary education for industry, construction, transport and communications, agriculture, various arts, health care. Alumni of such schools can be engaged directly in manufacturing; in addition, they can act as managers of medium and low-level employees, assistants of highly skilled specialists, and can carry out skilled work that requires not only professional skills, but appropriate theoretical knowledge.
