Business in Moscow

Moscow is the business centre of Russia and Europe; it enjoys a big international authority.

Moscow is one of the Russian leaders in business development, business support, introduction of new business technologies, development of legislative initiatives.

The great bulk of investments in the capital is put in trade and building. Moscow leads in the ranking of European real estate markets by investment appeal. In the next few years the most perspective areas for enterprise activity will become trade, financial operations, building, transport, communications, tourism, hotel and restaurant economy, science, education, public health services, consulting. There will be an increase in the interest to branches using new technologies and harmless materials.

The Moscow government considers as its main task the creation of comfortable conditions for business work, private business support. For this purpose the legislation is improved, programs attracting investors into various spheres of economy, and, first of all, into the innovative sphere and the high technology manufacture are developed.

Recently there has been an intensification in development of the business support infrastructure in Moscow, in particular, with creation of multipurpose business centers, centers of business development, technoparks, and other objects of city value.

The capital business community shows an increasing unity and interest in participation in national programs and investment projects of the Government of Moscow.
