Youth Business

The stimulation of entrepreneurial activity among the youth is a high-priority area of the support and development of small business in Moscow. As part of the Comprehensive Program for Development and Support of Small Business in the city of Moscow in 2004—2006, subprogram 15 "Development of Small Business among the Youth" was implemented.

Creating conditions that would attract the youth to entrepreneurial activities also as a source of welfare and a springboard for professional growth is a task set by the Comprehensive Program for Development and Support of Small Business in the city of Moscow for 2007—2009. According to the Program, 126 mln rubles will be granted from the Moscow city budget for support and development of youth business. In particular, one of the main goals of the activities stipulated by subprogram 2 is "to actively involve youth in entrepreneurial activities, facilitate social and labor adaptation of the Moscow youth, and identify young leaders capable to be entrepreneurs."
